  • I searched for almost 10 years, for a Church that made SENSE, I found nothing but more confusion. Some Pastors even answered my Scriptural questions with, "Look it up in the Bible." They answered EVERY QUESTION I had with that same response. That was NO help for me as I didn't know HOW to look things up in the Bible, that was part of my problems! Then, "Good Morning America" was on the television & they were talking about a change that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints had just announced was being made to their basic premises. I'd been studying the Bible with a woman who'd really stressed that the TRUE CHURCH would never change. It just so happened that we were going to be studying THAT VERY MORNING. So when she got there I jumped on this asking her about the change. Well she just repeated her mantra about "Never Changing." But, as usual, I was NOT satisfied with her response & went to my neighbor who was LDS. When I asked HER about this change she said that she couldn't answer or help me with that information justly, but she KNEW A COUPLE OF GUYS... Well let me say that I knew before the first lesson was through that THIS , the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, was EXACTLY the gospel of God, of Jesus Christ. THIS is what I'd been looking for all these years past. This is what the TRUTH SOUNDS like, what it looks like. This is what I knew I'd needed in my life & have WANTED to have close to me to guide me through my journey in this mortal life. I'm grateful for the blessing of growing up WITHOUT the Gospel, & I'm so grateful for my desire & desperation to search for my Lord's Truth so that when I saw a tiny little bit of it on the television, it caused me to seek out more information. And when I heard that truth, I knew...oh how I knew I'd finally found what I'd been looking for & there was NO WAY that anyone could ever tell me otherwise, THIS IS MY FATHER'S and my LORD'S Gospel. It is as Beautiful & as TRUE as I KNEW it would be if I was ever to find it. And finally, here it was, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I'm SO GRATEFUL that I had been able to have been led to this place. I'm grateful for the opportunity to have been led to this Church that I was able to receive the Ordinances of Baptism & Confirmation. I'm grateful for the opportunity to be a Member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, the joy & the feeling of complete fulfillment it gives me is immeasurable. I'm a Daughter of God and He loves ME! He KNOWS ME! He knows ME BY NAME, by MY NAME, it's almost an inconceivable thought that He would know me, little sit-in-the-background ME, BY NAME! What a WONDERFUL, BEAUTIFUL thought. But when one really does think about it of course He'd know our names, WHAT PARENT DOESN'T KNOW their child's name. He KNOWS ALL OF HIS CHILDREN! Just like we know ours. I'm blessed to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I'm GRATEFUL for my membership in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I'm blessed to have my family for ALL OF TIME & ETERNITY. I say these things for all to see and hear, in the Name of our Savior, my Lord Jesus Christ, Amen

  • Best place to be on Sunday. To sing/learn about Christ and His teachings. Having His Holy Spirit witness truth to my soul. Praise Him forever!
